Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Bull Wilson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Corey Butcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bull Wilson! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilson throws a half hearted mid kick. Butcher shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Butcher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Butcher fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage. Butcher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wilson has him pressed against the cage. Wilson throws an elbow but it misses.
Butcher works on Wilson's body with a couple of short punches. Wilson goes for a takedown attempt but Butcher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wilson looks gassed! Wilson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Corey Butcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butcher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Butcher tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Butcher darts in and clinches Wilson up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wilson can't break the clinch.

Butcher tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wilson just stands there and leans against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corey Butcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilson tries for a takedown but Butcher manages to get underhooks.
Wilson pulls guard effortlessly. Wilson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Butcher trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilson can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Butcher is fighting to break Wilson's control of his arms but Wilson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Butcher trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wilson dodges the punch combination from Butcher.
Wilson drives through and clinches with Butcher against the cage.
Butcher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Butcher tries to clinch but Wilson moves away and Wilson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Butcher taking a breather. Wilson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Butcher prevents it.

Wilson wants to break free but Butcher has control.
Butcher gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Butcher is fighting to break Wilson's control of his arms but Wilson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Let's hope that Wilson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Wilson wants to stand and escape but Butcher is having none of it. Butcher wants to control from the top but Wilson keeps moving. Wilson trying to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson kicks Butcher off and gets to his feet. Butcher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wilson counters by clinching up. Butcher keeps control of Wilson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Butcher escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Butcher fails with the takedown and Wilson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Butcher! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Butcher tries to buck Wilson off but he can't manage it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Butcher is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Butcher is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wilson looking to control but Butcher is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Wilson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Butcher closes the distance looking to clinch and Wilson counters with a two punch combo. Butcher fails to land with a series of punches.
A head kick misses from Butcher. Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Butcher keeps the fight on the outside. Corey Butcher is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wilson takes one on the button. Butcher tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Butcher stalks Wilson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilson's face. Wilson staggers backwards, shaken. Wilson shoots in but Butcher avoids the takedown attempt easily. Butcher looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Butcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wilson tries to avoid it but Butcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wilson to the ground. Wilson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wilson moves into range and clinches up with Butcher. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson is trying to trip Butcher. He has hold of a leg but Butcher is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wilson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Butcher utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wilson looking to pass the guard. Wilson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Butcher, up you get! Butcher tries to clinch and Wilson moves into the clinch. Butcher throws a knee to the head but misses.
Butcher decides to pull guard. Wilson wants to stand but Butcher has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Butcher not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Wilson won't allow Butcher to sweep him here. Butcher is trying to keep Wilson in close.
Wilson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butcher looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Wilson wanted to stand there but Butcher had control of the position. Butcher is trying to control the position but Wilson postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Butcher gets a takedown into half guard. Butcher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilson keeps working. Wilson is trying to stand up here but Butcher is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wilson is looking to escape. Wilson wants to get back to full guard. Wilson is staying active underneath Butcher, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wilson rushes Butcher and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wilson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Butcher pulls him back up using the underhooks. Butcher wants to break the clinch but can't.

Butcher connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wilson. Wilson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wilson stuffs the takedown attempt from Butcher. Butcher gets slowly back to his feet. Butcher doesn't manage to clinch there - Wilson circles away.
Butcher with a lazy takedown attempt and Wilson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wilson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Butcher fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Butcher has his takedown stuffed and Wilson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Butcher's guard now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bull Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Butcher slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Butcher controls Wilson momentarily but Wilson frees himself. Wilson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Butcher is proving hard to escape from. Butcher lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wilson!

Wilson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Butcher tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Butcher stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Wilson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Butcher misses with a combination
and Wilson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Butcher's guard now. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Butcher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wilson postures up.
Wilson throws a strike but Butcher rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wilson wants to sweep but no luck. Corey Butcher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Butcher trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bull Wilson. I've got Wilson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
