The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots in and drives through. Balcita sprawls well.
West shoots in for a takedown but Balcita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Balcita looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Balcita slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
West takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Chuck West has been cut.
Balcita misses the shot to the body.
West checks a leg kick nicely.
Balcita bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of West's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Balcita has cracked West with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Balcita lands another huge swinging hook and West tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save West, before Balcita can land any more shots!
