Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ultimate Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by MOVE!. Ultimate Fighter has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirk Dillard! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Dillard as Fighter shoots in. Fighter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fighter pushes Dillard up against the cage in a clinch. Dillard tries to pull guard but Fighter holds him up against the cage and eventually Dillard drops back down to his feet.
Fighter throws a punch but it's blocked by Dillard. Fighter has picked Dillard up - he's going for a ride! Fighter dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dillard is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fighter pulls his head out easily. Dillard is trying to control but can't.
Dillard is refusing to be controlled, as Fighter sits in half guard. Dillard is defending against the submission attempts here by Fighter.

Fighter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fighter is breathing heavily. Dillard slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dillard looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dillard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dillard wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fighter, who protects the arm well. Dillard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fighter tries to improve position but can't. Dillard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fighter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fighter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter tries to kick Dillard off but Dillard keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dillard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dillard off and has taken his back! Dillard manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fighter's guard. Nice work there by Dillard.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fighter defends it well. Fighter looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dillard trying to pass the guard but Fighter defending well. Fighter tries to get to full guard but Dillard has control of the leg. Dillard is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dillard is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fighter is forced to tap! Great finish!
