The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emilienenko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Emilienenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kozakov avoids it really well and circles away.
Emilienenko closes the distance and clinches up with Kozakov, looking for a takedown. Emilienenko pushes Kozakov against the cage but Kozakov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kozakov connects with a solid leg kick.
Emilienenko is breathing heavily.

Kozakov doesn't manage to clinch there - Emilienenko circles away.
Look low, kick high! Kozakov uses the oldest trick in the book to send Emilienenko tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Kozakov is absolutely delighted - when Emilienenko wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
