Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Le Bricoleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuko Shimaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Bricoleur's entrance music is Bob Le Bricoleur. A fine choice. Yuko Shimaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Le Bricoleur! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuko Shimaki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le Bricoleur fails to land with a series of punches.
Shimaki tries to clinch up but Le Bricoleur circles away and keeps his distance. Shimaki has Le Bricoleur up against the ropes in a clinch.
Le Bricoleur tries to break the clinch but Shimaki is controlling the position. Shimaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shimaki clinches up with Le Bricoleur and pushes him back against the ropes. Le Bricoleur has had enough of the clinch but Shimaki keeps him there for the moment. Shimaki pressing his opponent against the ropes. The crowd are getting on Shimaki's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A frustrated look appears on Le Bricoleur's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shimaki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Le Bricoleur uses from the top position. Le Bricoleur stays in close to Shimaki's body and controls the position. Le Bricoleur is looking to stand up but Shimaki won't let him. Shimaki is working an open guard so Le Bricoleur takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Le Bricoleur swinging wildly here.
Shimaki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Le Bricoleur.
Le Bricoleur throws a series of punches but Shimaki avoids them all with ease. Le Bricoleur takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Le Bricoleur really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Shimaki takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shimaki has a takedown stuffed. Shimaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Le Bricoleur swats him away and circles back towards the center. Le Bricoleur just misses with a punch to the body.

A combination from Le Bricoleur does no damage. Le Bricoleur throws a right hand that Shimaki ducks under and follows up with a left that Shimaki also avoids with ease. Shimaki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Shimaki shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Shimaki prevents Le Bricoleur from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shimaki looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Le Bricoleur looks like he's trying to stand up.
Shimaki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Le Bricoleur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shimaki on the ground. Shimaki trying to control the action but Le Bricoleur is working from the bottom. Shimaki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Le Bricoleur is defending against the submission attempts here by Shimaki.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Le Bricoleur misses with a body shot.
Shimaki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Le Bricoleur. A combination from Le Bricoleur does no damage. Le Bricoleur tries to bum rush Shimaki with a series of wild strikes but Shimaki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Yuko Shimaki dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Shimaki feints and then cracks Le Bricoleur's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Le Bricoleur down. Le Bricoleur takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Le Bricoleur fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shimaki manages to avoid it. Le Bricoleur cracks Shimaki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Shimaki misses with a double jab
and Le Bricoleur counters with a two punch combo. Shimaki has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Le Bricoleur throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shimaki counters with an outside leg kick.

Shimaki feints and then cracks Le Bricoleur's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Le Bricoleur down. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shimaki lands a nice leg kick that just misses Le Bricoleur's sensitive parts. Le Bricoleur avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bob Le Bricoleur is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Shimaki counters by clinching up. Shimaki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shimaki shoots in and drives through. Le Bricoleur sprawls well. Le Bricoleur misses with a double jab
and Shimaki counters with a solid body kick. Le Bricoleur keeps the fight on the outside. Shimaki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Le Bricoleur.
Shimaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Shimaki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Le Bricoleur looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Le Bricoleur that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shimaki is in the full mount, landing strikes. Shimaki is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Le Bricoleur can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Le Bricoleur is rocked! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shimaki lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Le Bricoleur is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Le Bricoleur is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Shimaki wants to finish this one by submission but Le Bricoleur is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Shimaki. Le Bricoleur seems to have got his legs back now. Le Bricoleur is trying desperately to improve position. Shimaki dominating with strikes here.

Shimaki landing strikes, looking to finish! Shimaki lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Le Bricoleur is in a horrible position here. Shimaki smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Shimaki postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Le Bricoleur bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Shimaki and the fight is over!
