And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Connar!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Baggins.

It looks like Stephen Connar has been cut.

Connar shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baggins napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Connar tries for a kimura but Baggins is defending well.
Baggins pushes Connar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Connar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Baggins wants to get back to his feet but Connar is dominant here and he's now got Baggins's back!

Connar really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Baggins.

Connar controls the position.
Baggins has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Connar has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Baggins's body.

Despite being in the dominant position, Stephen Connar just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Baggins fails in his attempt to clinch.
Frodo Baggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Connar on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Baggins tries to clinch up.
Baggins tries to close the distance and clinch but Connar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Baggins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A nice combination there by Baggins.
Baggins jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


That has opened up Stephen Connar's cut even more.
Baggins cracks Connar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


Connar is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Baggins knocks Connar out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frodo Baggins!
