Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshal Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard has chosen I Against I as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshal Erickson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Minard! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erickson shoots in for a double leg but Minard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Minard thumps Erickson with a low kick. Minard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Erickson avoids the head kick by Minard.
Erickson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Minard is defending against the submission attempts here by Erickson.
Erickson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Erickson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Minard doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Erickson. Erickson is trying to work for a kimura but Minard is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minard controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Erickson wants to work for an arm triangle but Minard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Erickson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Minard keeps working. Erickson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Minard defends it well. Minard looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Erickson thows a huge punch but Minard dodges it nicely.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Minard throws a sloppy head kick and Erickson moves out of range easily. Erickson fails to land the takedown. Minard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Erickson is breathing heavily. Erickson dives in and grabs Minard's left leg, looking for a takedown. Minard pushes down on Erickson's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshal Erickson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Minard scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Erickson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Erickson gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Minard.
It looks like Marshal Erickson has been cut. Minard throws an overhand right that has Erickson reeling! Minard follows up with more punches and Erickson is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Anderson Minard!
