Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Suon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DMX. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Suon! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suon throws the kick towards the body but Allen avoids it. A jab from Suon misses. Allen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Suon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Allen defends well. Allen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Suon works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Allen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Allen forces his way into half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Allen thows a huge punch but Suon dodges it nicely.
Suon wants to get back to full guard. Allen looks to land a strike but Suon avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Allen throwing strikes from guard but Suon blocks nicely. Allen trying to control but Suon is working from the bottom. Suon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Suon tries to improve position but can't. Allen landing a few strikes. Allen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Suon has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Allen misses with the ground and pound. Suon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Suon wants to improve his position but Allen is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Allen thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Suon is trying to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Suon avoids the body shot from Allen.

Allen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Allen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Allen trying to control the position from guard on top but Suon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Allen advances to half guard. Allen is looking to advance position but Suon won't allow it. Suon blocking the ground and pound attempt from Allen. Allen drops an elbow to the side of Suon's head. Allen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Allen is looking for a kimura here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen lands with a punch from half guard. Allen passes to full mount! Allen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Suon tries to hold on but Allen pushes him away. Allen unloading with bombs! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Allen is landing with some decent strikes but Suon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Suon tries to lock up and control but Allen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Allen connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Suon tries to hold on but Allen pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Allen dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Allen gets a takedown into half guard. Allen prevents Suon from improving his position. Allen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Allen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Allen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Suon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Allen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Suon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Allen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Allen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Suon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Suon throws a push kick but Allen slaps the foot to one side. Allen blocks a leg kick. Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Suon was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen. Allen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Allen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Suon as he avoids it easily. Allen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Suon sprawls well initially but Allen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Allen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Suon's head. Suon is refusing to be controlled, as Allen sits in half guard. Suon regains full guard. Nicely done. Allen showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Suon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Allen is aware though and is defending well. Allen passes Suon's left leg - he's now in half guard. Suon gets full guard. Allen scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Allen working the head and body with strikes. Suon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Allen. That's four minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. A telegraphed right hand from Suon misses the target. Suon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Allen. A combination from Allen does no damage. Allen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Suon stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet. Jake Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Suon throws a leg kick but Allen sees it coming and checks it nicely. Suon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Allen misses the shot to the body. Suon avoids a punch combination nicely.

Suon attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Suon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Suon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Suon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Allen down.

Allen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Allen is trying to control the position but Suon postures up. Suon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Suon is in close to Allen's body, working some short punches and elbows. Suon won't allow Allen to sweep him here.

Suon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Allen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Suon's guard. Suon tries to strike from the bottom.

Allen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Suon is staying active underneath Allen, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Allen is really struggling to control Suon but he's trying to hold on to the position. Suon is defending against the submission attempts here by Allen.
