The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grim wants to clinch up but Matos keeps it at a distance.
Grim is looking to clinch but Matos is avoiding it.

Matos throws the left hand but Grim avoids the punch easily.
Grim moves in looking to clinch but Matos pushes him off.
Matos dives in and grabs Grim's left leg, looking for a takedown. Grim pushes down on Matos's head and hops out.

Grim scores with a hook to the body. Matos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Grim tries to close the distance and clinch but Matos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Matos takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Some bone on bone action there as Matos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A frustrated look appears on Matos's face as he tries to break the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Grim throws an elbow but misses.
Matos is trying to break the clinch but Grim is controlling him.

Grim manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Matos manages to break the clinch.

Grim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Matos's hands.
Grim cracks Matos with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Matos is rocked!
