Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neftali De la Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Harvalik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Neftali De la Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Harvalik!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De la Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch but Harvalik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
No joy there for De la Cruz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De la Cruz is looking to clinch but Harvalik is avoiding it.
De la Cruz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
De la Cruz shoots for a takedown but Harvalik saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
De la Cruz is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Harvalik circles away from the clinch attempt.
De la Cruz is looking to clinch.
De la Cruz goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Harvalik drops his hands momentarily and De la Cruz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Harvalik bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De la Cruz's guard.

Harvalik drops back looking for a leg! De la Cruz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and De la Cruz manages to kick Harvalik off! Harvalik jumps back into De la Cruz's guard.

Harvalik drops back, looking for a kneebar! De la Cruz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. De la Cruz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from De la Cruz!

That was a close round but I would say that Neftali De la Cruz will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De la Cruz has his foot on Harvalik's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harvalik works his way back into a safe position though.

De la Cruz cracks Harvalik with a big right hand but Harvalik just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Harvalik tries to bench press De la Cruz off him but De la Cruz keeps the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A lull in the action here.
Harvalik gets back to half guard.
De la Cruz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
De la Cruz takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are battling for position here. Harvalik manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Harvalik drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harvalik jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

De la Cruz breaks from Harvalik's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Harvalik is in all sorts of trouble here.

De la Cruz has control of Harvalik's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Harvalik regains control of the situation pretty easily.
De la Cruz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Neftali De la Cruz will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

De la Cruz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harvalik is working away from the top position though.
