Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tessio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Nobrega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nobrega has chosen Monster as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Tessio as Nobrega shoots in.
Tessio dives in and grabs Nobrega's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nobrega pushes down on Tessio's head and hops out.
Tessio clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Tessio.
Tessio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nobrega throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tessio darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
