Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Fredrickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Priebcko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Priebcko has chosen You Know My Name as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lars Fredrickson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Priebcko! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Priebcko misses with a few strikes there.
Fredrickson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fredrickson tries to score with a low kick but Priebcko moves his leg out of the way. Lars Fredrickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Priebcko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fredrickson. Priebcko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fredrickson. Fredrickson obviously looking to wear him down.
Fredrickson lands with a straight right. Priebcko didn't see that one coming. Fredrickson works the jab nicely. Priebcko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fredrickson sees it coming and avoids it easily. A swing and a miss from Priebcko. Priebcko gets caught flat footed, as Fredrickson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fredrickson content to stall in guard here. Fredrickson tries to free his leg and advance position but Priebcko is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredrickson trying to control but Priebcko is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fredrickson passes into half guard. Fredrickson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Priebcko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fredrickson. Priebcko is looking to control Fredrickson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Priebcko avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fredrickson is looking for a kimura but Priebcko is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fredrickson to get the leverage. Priebcko tries to roll over but Fredrickson keeps him under control. Fredrickson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Priebcko doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fredrickson. Fredrickson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Priebcko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Priebcko wants to get back to his feet. Fredrickson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Priebcko sees it coming and defends easily. Still in half guard, Fredrickson seems content to control. Priebcko is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fredrickson scores with a couple of nice shots. Fredrickson is trying to work for a kimura but Priebcko is defending well.
Fredrickson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fredrickson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Priebcko really wants to buck Fredrickson off and get back to his feet. Fredrickson working for a guillotine from mount but Priebcko is in no mood to give up. Fredrickson looking to secure an arm triangle but Priebcko defends it well. Fredrickson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lars Fredrickson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fredrickson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Some bone on bone action there as Priebcko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Fredrickson looks for a takedown but Priebcko sprawls well. Fredrickson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Priebcko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fredrickson throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Fredrickson advances to full mount. Fredrickson takes Priebcko's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Priebcko is in trouble. Fredrickson is looking for a rear naked choke here but Priebcko reverses the position brilliantly into Fredrickson's guard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fredrickson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fredrickson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Priebcko is one step ahead there. Priebcko is sitting in close to Fredrickson's body. Fredrickson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Priebcko is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Priebcko is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fredrickson.
