Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arcinas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fairtex is trying to stand up here but Arcinas is controlling him well.
Fairtex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arcinas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Arcinas seems to be working for a kimura but Fairtex defends the submission attempt.
Fairtex is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Arcinas lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Arcinas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Fairtex is trying to stand back up but Arcinas is controlling him
Fairtex is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Arcinas scores with a couple of nice shots.
Arcinas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fairtex tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Arcinas manages to move to mount!

Fairtex is bucking up trying to escape but Arcinas cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fairtex is rocked!
Fairtex tries to buck Arcinas off so he can stand up but Arcinas has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Fairtex falls backwards, slamming Arcinas to the mat but Arcinas holds on tight! Fairtex is forced to tap and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Fabricio Arcinas!
