Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Ready (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AJ Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). AJ Adams has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Don Ready's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Ready! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ Adams! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams throws a head kick but Ready moves out of range.
Adams slaps away a takedown attempt from Ready, before circling back to the center of the mat. Adams leaves Ready with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Adams misses with the combination.
Adams lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Adams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Adams showed some decent athleticism there. Adams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ready does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams trying to pass the guard but Ready defending well. Ready moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ready pulls Adams in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adams postures up in Ready's guard and throws a big left but Ready blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Adams has gone for a leg lock! Ready slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adams's guard. Ready is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ready in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ready working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Ready loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Ready throws and elbow that misses. Adams uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ready's guard. Nice move by Adams! Adams postures up.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ready swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams pushes down on Ready's leg and manages to get into half guard. Ready wants to control but Adams is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ready is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adams pulls his head out easily. Ready slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ready avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Adams postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Adams is looking to work some ground and pound but Ready has wrist control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Adams postures up in Ready's guard and throws a big left but Ready blocks it. Adams wants to control from the top but Ready keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Adams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A shot to de liver by Adams. Beautiful body shot. Adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ready counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Adams! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but AJ Adams will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Adams with a poor takedown and Ready decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Adams's guard. Ready postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ready throws a big right hand that misses. Ready is working Adams over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Ready scoring with some ground and pound. Ready cracks Adams with a solid left hand. Ready throws a big right hand that misses. Adams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ready! Adams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ready is looking to escape. Adams moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ready has worked his arm free - good work by Ready!
That's one minute gone in the round. Adams tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adams has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Adams is breathing heavily. Ready is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Adams off and has taken his back! Adams looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Ready is working the ground and pound. Can Adams escape?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ready throwing damaging strikes from the back! Adams could be in trouble here!
The referee is taking a good look at Adams as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Ready!
Ready has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Adams. Adams rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Ready lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Adams looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ready landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Ready not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ready missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ready working the head and body with strikes. Still in half guard, Ready seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ready slips a nice elbow through Adams's hands, connecting with Adams's forehead. Ready sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Adams defending well though. Ready scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Adams has hold of Ready's hands but Ready slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ready lands with a punch from half guard. Adams is trying to control but can't.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ready content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Ready is thwarting Adams's attempts to control the position. Adams is looking to improve his position.

Ready can't keep his opponent in guard - Adams advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ready is trying to maintain the position but Adams is very close to passing his half guard. Ready keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Adams is thwarting Ready's attempts to control the position. Adams is trying to control. Ready wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Adams takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ready manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adams manages to get himself to full guard.
Don Ready overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ready is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
And that's the end of the fight! Don Ready showed his dominance in that final round. I think Ready has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
