The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Bennyilmari Haitarila has been cut.
Haitarila lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Owens tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Owens throws a series of punches but Haitarila avoids them all with ease.
Owens takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Owens misses with a few strikes there.
Haitarila lands a big head kick that sends Owens tumbling to the mat! Haitarila takes a step backwards and waves Owens back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Haitarila avoids a kick to the body.
Owens seems to have recovered his senses.
Look low, kick high! Haitarila uses the oldest trick in the book to send Owens tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Haitarila is absolutely delighted - when Owens wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
