Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, ze mago! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! mago gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Elvis's corner is telling him to maintain position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elvis trying to control but mago is working from the bottom. Elvis stays in close to mago's body and controls the position.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Nino Elvis just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Elvis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. mago is trying to defend but Elvis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. mago is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. mago looks gassed! Elvis passes the guard and advances to mount!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Nino Elvis just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Elvis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Elvis pushing down on mago's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Elvis is figuring out what he wants to do next. Elvis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Elvis controlling the position easily from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Elvis. The ground and pound from Elvis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Elvis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. mago is breathing heavily. Elvis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Elvis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed mago's guard. Elvis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nino Elvis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Elvis is working hard here to advance position. Elvis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Elvis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Elvis advances to half guard. Elvis wants to pass to mount but mago is defending the position. Elvis trying to control the pace. mago is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Elvis scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Elvis trying to control the pace. Elvis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down mago for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Elvis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. ze mago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Elvis controlling the action here. Nino Elvis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight! Nino Elvis showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Elvis, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
