Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Dodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bryce ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Dodd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bryce ahr! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ahr moves into range and clinches up with Dodd. Dodd fails to pull guard.
ahr escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
ahr drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dodd is trying to get back to half guard. ahr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dodd. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. An elbow from ahr crashes against the mat.
ahr has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. ahr has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dodd wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but ahr has him pressed against the cage. Dodd throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but ahr blocks it with crossed arms. ahr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. ahr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dodd swivels and escapes. Dodd with a lazy takedown attempt and ahr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dodd is staying active underneath ahr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. ahr is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dodd still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dodd has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dodd moves into full mount! ahr wants to hold on but Dodd pushes him away. The referee warns ahr that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
ahr is in all sorts of trouble here.
ahr looks gassed! ahr is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. ahr tries to improve his position but instead Dodd has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. ahr staying busy and making it hard for Dodd to control. Dodd looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
ahr rolls, trying to escape but Dodd keeps control of the position.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Dodd controlling the positon. Dodd lands punches and elbows.
That's three minutes gone in the round. ahr can't escape the position.
Dodd controls the position. ahr staying busy and making it hard for Dodd to control. ahr is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dodd gets his way!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dodd's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dodd wants to control the position but ahr frees himself and scrambles - Dodd manages to regain control in side control.
Dodd wants to control but ahr is keeping him busy.
The referee stands the fighters back up. David Dodd just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Dodd misses with a takedown and ahr counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dodd won't be happy with that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dodd. That's going to take a lot out of him. ahr trying to control the action but Dodd is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dodd wants to control but ahr postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
bryce ahr dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
ahr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. ahr showed some decent athleticism there. bryce ahr has got the better of the ground game so far. ahr is trying to control. Dodd wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dodd trying to control here.
ahr stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. ahr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dodd sprawls well initially but ahr persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dodd is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of ahr's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take ahr's back! ahr trying to control the hands but Dodd breaks the grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. ahr is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Dodd is staying active. Dodd lands shots from the back. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Dodd's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
ahr takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Dodd has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. ahr is defending well but eventually Dodd manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! ahr has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
