Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrei Chikatilo! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soljenski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Soljenski is looking to clinch but Chikatilo is avoiding it.

Soljenski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Soljenski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chikatilo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The ref makes him back up and allows Soljenski to get to his feet. Chikatilo throws a series of punches but Soljenski avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chikatilo throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Soljenski tries for a takedown but Chikatilo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Soljenski throws a head kick but Chikatilo moves out of range.
Andrei Chikatilo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chikatilo scores a takedown into full mount! Chikatilo tries to control but Soljenski wriggling away. Chikatilo controlling the position easily from mount. Chikatilo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Soljenski is on top in guard.
Chikatilo keeping moving, preventing Soljenski from controlling successfully. Chikatilo working for a triangle but Soljenski defends it easily.
Soljenski trying to control the position from guard on top but Chikatilo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Soljenski tries to clinch up. Chikatilo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Soljenski wants to improve his position but Chikatilo is controlling well.
Soljenski is pressing down on Chikatilo's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chikatilo passes easily into side control. Nice work. Chikatilo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chikatilo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Chikatilo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Soljenski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chikatilo is working away from the top position though. Soljenski wants to get back to full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chikatilo is trying to work for a kimura but Soljenski is defending well.

Soljenski fails in his attempt to clinch. Chikatilo swats away the attempt to clinch by Soljenski. Chikatilo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Chikatilo goes for an armbar but Soljenski turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Soljenski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soljenski gets to his feet. Chikatilo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Chikatilo connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Soljenski! He's out on his feet! Chikatilo rushes in and drops Soljenski with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
