The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheffield shoots in looking for a takedown. Arlovski tries to sprawl out of it but Sheffield keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Arlovski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Arlovski throws a nice looking combination but Sheffield bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sheffield tries to move into range but Arlovski moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sheffield avoids the body shot from Arlovski.
Arlovski scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Arlovski rushes Sheffield and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Arlovski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Arlovski throws a series of punches but Sheffield avoids them all with ease.

Andrew Arlovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bronson Sheffield.

Arlovski dips a shoulder and cracks Sheffield with a mighty uppercut! Sheffield falls back against the ropes and Arlovski unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sheffield is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Arlovski screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
