This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baby scores with a one two! Mallon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Mallon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Big Baby's cut.

Mallon lands a body shot.
Baby takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Baby misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Baby bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mallon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That has opened up Big Baby's cut even more.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Mallon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baby is breathing heavily.
Baby displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mallon throws out the jab.
Mallon lands a nice hook to Baby's body. Baby takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mallon lands a left and a right that send Baby crashing to the mat, dazed. Mallon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Baby is rocked!

Baby is still on wobbly legs! Can Mallon finish him?
Mallon lands with a nice body punch.
Baby seems to have recovered his senses.
Mallon throws a jab but it's blocked by Baby.
Dan Mallon is winning the standup battle so far.
Mallon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Baby sprawling to the canvas! Baby rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mallon finish him?!
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Baby might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Mallon has got the better of the exchanges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baby switches off momentarily and Mallon cracks him with a monster right hand! Baby topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Mallon dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Mallon!
