Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sachz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slaughter comes to the cage accompanied by Ladies and Gentlemen. Sachz has chosen Storstadsidyll by Petter as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergeant Slaughter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Harry Sachz! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sachz cracks Slaughter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sachz drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Slaughter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slaughter tries to get out of the position. Sachz wants to control from the top but Slaughter keeps moving. Sachz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slaughter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Slaughter has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Sachz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slaughter swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sachz has gone for a leg lock! Slaughter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sachz's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sachz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Slaughter is stalling in the full guard. Sachz is looking for a triangle but Slaughter pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slaughter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Slaughter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sachz looking for a sweep. Not yet Sachz, not yet. Sachz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Slaughter wants to get up but he can't break Sachz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Sachz has his foot on Slaughter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Slaughter works his way back into a safe position though. Sachz looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sachz wants to sweep but no luck. Slaughter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Slaughter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sachz on the ground. Slaughter tries to stand but Sachz is controlling from the bottom. Slaughter looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sachz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Slaughter uses it to pass to side control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. A lull in the action here. Sachz gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slaughter wants to stand up but Sachz is controlling the position.
Still in half guard, Slaughter seems content to control. Slaughter is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Slaughter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Slaughter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sachz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sachz looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Sachz is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slaughter pulls his head out easily. Slaughter slows the pace down in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Sergeant Slaughter just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Sachz misses with a straight left. Sachz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slaughter dodges the punch combination from Sachz.
Sachz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Slaughter looks to score with a jab to the body but Sachz is just out of range. Sergeant Slaughter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sachz takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sachz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sachz fails to land the takedown. Sergeant Slaughter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Sachz. Slaughter has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Sergeant Slaughter will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Slaughter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sachz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Slaughter.
Slaughter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Slaughter rushes Sachz and presses him up against the cage. Slaughter prevents a takedown attempt there.
Slaughter lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Slaughter lands with a right to the head. Slaughter throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Slaughter lands a body shot in the clinch.
Sachz tries for a takedown but Slaughter manages to get underhooks.
Sachz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Slaughter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sergeant Slaughter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Sachz. Sachz is breathing heavily. A quick uppercut on the inside from Slaughter. Slaughter lands a right hand. Sachz goes for a takedown in the clinch but Slaughter prevents it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slaughter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A left hand lands to the body for Slaughter.
Slaughter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Slaughter digs a right hand underneath Sachz's ribcage. Sachz let out a lung full of air as it connected. Slaughter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sachz backwards. A shot in the inside from Slaughter. Slaughter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Slaughter lands a nice shot to the body. Slaughter presses Sachz against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Slaughter works on Sachz's body with a couple of short punches. Slaughter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Slaughter lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sachz or not. A short uppercut from Slaughter. Slaughter lands a body shot. Slaughter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Slaughter cracks Sachz with a nice body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Slaughter. Slaughter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sachz backwards. Slaughter lands with a left to the head. Sachz's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Good body shot from Slaughter.
Slaughter lands a body punch in the clinch. Slaughter gets through Sachz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Sachz is rocked! Slaughter dips a shoulder and cracks Sachz with a mighty uppercut! Sachz falls back against the cage and Slaughter unloads with a barrage of strikes! Sachz is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Slaughter screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
