Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther Faust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Hawke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nathan Hawke was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luther Faust! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nathan Hawke! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawke wants to clinch up but Faust keeps it at a distance. Faust swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawke. Hawke fails with the takedown. Hawke slips under a jab. Faust swats away the attempt to clinch by Hawke. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hawke wants to clinch up but Faust keeps it at a distance. Hawke shoots for a double leg takedown but Faust sprawls well. He's pushed Hawke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawke keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Faust. Faust throws a nice looking combination but Hawke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hawke lands a two punch combo.
Faust avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hawke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Faust paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hawke moves in looking to clinch but Faust pushes him off. Faust misses with a looping left. Hawke shoots for a double leg takedown but Faust sprawls well. He's pushed Hawke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Luther Faust has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Hawke. Faust misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawke ducks under a wild hook from Faust. Faust throws a nice looking combination but Hawke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Faust takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Faust tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawke swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hawke tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Faust to counter with a crisp jab. Nathan Hawke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Faust misses with a double jab
and Hawke counters with a lovely shot to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Danga de danga de dang - Hawke scores with a four punch combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faust shoots in for a takedown but Hawke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hawke tries to clinch but Faust moves away and Faust counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hawke won't be happy with that. Hawke tries to improve position but can't. Faust tries to score with some ground and pound. Hawke controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Faust looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Faust is breathing heavily. Faust tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Faust has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hawke is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faust is trying to get an arm triangle but Hawke is defending well. Hawke is looking for a sweep.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hawke shoots and misses and Faust counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Faust falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hawke counters with a left to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hawke getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hawke drops Faust with a beautiful combination! Faust stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hawke is looking for the KO! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Hawke dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hawke dances in with a quick combination. Faust is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Hawke snaps Faust's head back. Faust stumbles backwards against the cage. Hawke steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Faust's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Faust just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nathan Hawke!
