Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Kolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AB Sly II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sly II fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kolo avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kolo has his foot on Sly II's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sly II works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kolo is trying to drag Sly II to the mat but Sly II just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Sly II feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Kolo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sly II is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sly II and Kolo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kolo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sly II, who protects the arm well.

Kolo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kolo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
