Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between CHUCCK Lidell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franc Haiti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, CHUCCK Lidell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Franc Haiti! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haiti will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lidell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haiti at a distance.
Haiti tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lidell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Haiti somewhat. Lidell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haiti paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lidell gets caught flat footed, as Haiti shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Haiti is fighting to break Lidell's control of his arms but Lidell is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haiti trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lidell's guard. Haiti trying to control the position from guard on top but Lidell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lidell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haiti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haiti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lidell keeping moving, preventing Haiti from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lidell is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Lidell is looking to stand up but Haiti isn't so interested in that idea. Haiti wants to control from the top but Lidell keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lidell instigates a clinch. Lidell prevents the takedown attempt.
CHUCCK Lidell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franc Haiti. Haiti's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. CHUCCK Lidell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lidell looks to land a combination but Haiti avoids it well. Haiti fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Haiti shoots for a takedown but Lidell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Haiti looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lidell with a hook. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lidell.
Lidell gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lidell jumps guard but Haiti stands there with Lidell around his waist. Lidell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lidell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Haiti smiles and moves away.
Lidell throws a series of punches but Haiti avoids them all with ease. Lidell avoids the head kick by Haiti.
Lidell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Haiti takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lidell darts in and clinches Haiti up against the cage. Haiti fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lidell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lidell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A chopping leg kick lands by Lidell. Lidell tries to bum rush Haiti with a series of wild strikes but Haiti uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lidell misses with a series of wild punches.
Lidell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Haiti. Lidell misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lidell tries to close the distance and clinch but Haiti swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lidell has Haiti up against the cage in a clinch.
Lidell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Haiti walks away with a smile on his face. Lidell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lidell lands with a kick to the ribs.
Lidell fails in his attempt to clinch. Lidell closes the distance and clinches. Lidell manages to break the clinch.
Lidell tries to clinch but Haiti is having none of it. Lidell swinging wildly here.
A head kick misses from Lidell. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
CHUCCK Lidell dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Lidell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Haiti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lidell. Haiti misses with a body punch
and Lidell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lidell wants to clinch up but Haiti keeps it at a distance. Lidell moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Haiti fails with a takedown attempt. Haiti fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haiti avoids the head kick by Lidell.

That's one minute gone in the round. Haiti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lidell regains half guard. Haiti frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lidell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lidell tries to get out of the position. Lidell is trying to stand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lidell is squirming around, avoiding Haiti's attempts to control the action. Lidell is looking to improve his position but Haiti isn't that keen on the idea. Haiti stands up from mount. Strange move. Lidell rushes Haiti and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Haiti is struggling to control the position. Haiti misses with an elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Haiti just leaning against Lidell, taking a breather. Haiti stops a takedown attempt from Lidell.
Lidell looking for a takedown. Haiti has Lidell pushed against the cage. Haiti is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Haiti's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Haiti wants to clinch up but Lidell keeps it at a distance. Lidell tries to clinch up and Haiti counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Haiti misses with a takedown and Lidell counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Haiti is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Lidell is looking to clinch. Lidell doesn't manage to clinch there - Haiti circles away.
A right-left combo lands from Lidell. Lidell moves out of range as Haiti strikes. Lidell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haiti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lidell pinned against the cage. Lidell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Haiti effectively controlling the action here. Haiti escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Haiti tries to clinch up but Lidell circles away and keeps his distance. Lidell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Haiti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lidell but Lidell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Haiti tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Lidell throws a nice head kick!

A close second round but Franc Haiti will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Haiti shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Haiti shoots in for a double leg but Lidell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Haiti misses with a straight right. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Haiti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. CHUCCK Lidell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franc Haiti.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lidell darts in trying to clinch and Haiti counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lidell pushes Haiti off and gets back to his feet.
Haiti closes the distance and clinches. Lidell is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Haiti has had enough of the clinch but Lidell keeps him there for the moment. Lidell is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Haiti gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Haiti wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haiti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Haiti tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lidell swivels and escapes. Lidell lands with a slapping head kick. Lidell scores with a push kick. Haiti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lidell but Lidell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Some wild striking there from Lidell.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haiti shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lidell slaps away a takedown attempt from Haiti, before circling back to the center of the mat. Haiti fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lidell wants to clinch. Haiti fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A nice inside leg kick there by Lidell. That's going to slow Haiti down. Haiti circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lidell gets a clinch. Haiti tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lidell lands a right hand. Haiti goes for a takedown attempt but Lidell pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! Franc Haiti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Haiti has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
