Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BILLY Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin McGillen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin McGillen struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Kevin McGillen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
McGillen throws a head kick that misses.
McGillen misses with a wild combination.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jones dives in and grabs McGillen's left leg, looking for a takedown. McGillen pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
McGillen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

McGillen closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McGillen pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.

Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McGillen uses from the top position.

McGillen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McGillen has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McGillen manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow.
Jones is nestled in close to McGillen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
