Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaska Sabaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sakari Paasonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paasonen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Gay Barbie Song. Sakari Paasonen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabaton shoots in but no luck this time.
Paasonen shoots and misses
and Sabaton counters with a shoot takedown. Paasonen fights it but they end up in guard.
Sabaton passes into half guard.
Sabaton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Paasonen is just riding it out for now. Sabaton eventually gives up the hold.
Sabaton trying to control from half guard but Paasonen is working away.
Sabaton is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Paasonen reverses the position - he's now on top in Sabaton's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Paasonen won't allow Sabaton to sweep him here.
Sabaton is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Sabaton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sabaton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Paasonen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sabaton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Paasonen's back instead.
Sabaton is breathing heavily.
I really don't envy Paasonen right now.
Paasonen trying to control the hands but Sabaton won't let him.

Paasonen rolls, trying to escape but Sabaton keeps control of the position.
Sabaton is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Paasonen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Sabaton is trying to stick to Paasonen's back but Paasonen is turning into Sabaton. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sabaton's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Paasonen.

Sabaton wants to hit a switch here but Paasonen passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Sabaton there!

Sabaton is desperately trying to improve his position but Paasonen has a good base and remains in mount.
Sabaton is working hard here to advance position.

Sabaton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Sabaton sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Sabaton has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Paasonen. Oh but Sabaton has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Paasonen goes limp - he's gone! Sabaton jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
