The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in looking for a takedown. Coleman tries to sprawl out of it but Johnson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coleman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Coleman shows good takedown defense.
Coleman lands a jab to Johnson's midsection.
Johnson fails to land the takedown.
Glen Coleman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Johnson.

Johnson slips a jab and a cross from Coleman.

Coleman lands with a big left! Johnson is wobbled badly! Coleman comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Johnson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
