Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thor Helsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bhody Guthrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helsson comes to the cage accompanied by Devils March. Bhody Guthrie looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helsson dodges the punch combination from Guthrie.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Guthrie.

Helsson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Guthrie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Helsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Helsson lands a big shot there that rocks Guthrie but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Helsson wants to finish this one by submission but Guthrie is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Helsson.
Helsson is landing with some decent strikes but Guthrie is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Guthrie is working to get back to half guard.
Helsson cracks Guthrie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Helsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Helsson has hold of Guthrie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Guthrie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Helsson stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

and Guthrie counters with a nice kick to the body.
Helsson tries for a takedown but Guthrie sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Guthrie throws a right and a left that Helsson avoids nicely.
Guthrie is looking to clinch but Helsson is avoiding it.
Guthrie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Helsson tries to avoid it but Guthrie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Helsson to the ground. Helsson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Guthrie wants to stand but Helsson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Helsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guthrie defends well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Helsson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guthrie is controlling him.
Helsson controls Guthrie momentarily but Guthrie frees himself.

Helsson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee warns Guthrie that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Helsson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Guthrie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Helsson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Guthrie is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Guthrie flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Helsson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Guthrie and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Helsson slips an arm under Guthrie chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Helsson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Helsson is squeezing on Guthrie like an anaconda would it's prey. Guthrie fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
