Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between johan sam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rogerio Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sam is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. The key to victory for johan sam has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Werdum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. sam was covering up waiting for the punch and Werdum finishes the takedown easily into guard.
sam is breathing heavily.
Werdum drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Werdum seems to have locked his on tight now - sam screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Werdum, as he picks up the win!
