Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felix Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Queensryche - Jet City Woman. Ward has chosen Converge - No Heroes as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Ward!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ward sprawls well initially but Anderson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Anderson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ward to regain full guard.
Anderson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ward has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Anderson wants to get up but he can't break Ward's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ward pulls Anderson in close to prevent any damage.

Ward is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Anderson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ward is on top in guard.
Anderson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ward puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Anderson is looking for a sweep. Ward is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Anderson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Anderson controls Ward momentarily but Ward frees himself.
Anderson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Ward uses it to pass to side control.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Anderson is trying to improve his position.

You can see the frustration on Anderson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Anderson tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Ward stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Ward's corner calls for a 1-2. Ward obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jab, jab by Ward - just one landing.
Anderson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Horrible takedown by Anderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Ward which made him look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ward throws a monster overhand right that drops Anderson! Ward follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
