Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between ron mexico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Edelman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). mexico comes to the cage accompanied by I want war. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edelman connects with a jab.
The fighters circling - Edelman throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

It looks like ron mexico has been cut.
mexico shoots in but no luck this time.

mexico is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Edelman's half guard.

mexico is working Edelman over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

mexico slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

mexico has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
