Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ong Boc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ji Seung Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ong Boc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ji Seung Kim!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Boc as Kim shoots in.
Kim doesn't manage to clinch there - Boc circles away.
Kim throws a combination. Boc tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kim motions for Boc to come forward. Kim throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boc really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boc throws a head kick that half lands.
Kim tries to clinch there but Boc circles away.
Boc misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kim shoots in but no luck this time.

Boc clinches with his opponent.
Boc trying to land knees to the body.
Boc on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kim tries to pull guard but Boc won't allow it.
Ong Boc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ji Seung Kim.

Boc escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boc gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kim to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boc throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Kim stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boc swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Boc has a closed guard, preventing Kim from standing up.
Boc knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground.

Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kim tries to clinch but Boc moves away

and Boc counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Boc.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kim breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Boc blocks a head kick by Kim.

and Boc makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Boc manages to break the clinch.
Boc throws a head kick that Kim semi-blocks.

Kim shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boc pinned against the cage. Boc gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ong Boc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kim tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Boc counters with a big head kick but Kim shrugs it off.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kim, right into the meat.
No luck for Kim with that takedown attempt.

Kim throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Boc counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Boc.
Boc prevents the takedown attempt.

Boc manages to break the clinch.
Kim throws a sloppy head kick
and Boc counters with a body kick.
Kim looks gassed!

Boc has Kim up against the cage in a clinch.

Boc breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boc pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boc pushes Kim away with a front kick.

and Boc counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kim is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boc lands a head kick. Kim smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Kim sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Kim looks to throw a body kick
and Boc counters with a good, hard body kick but Kim shrugs it off.
Ji Seung Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boc scores with a leg kick.
Kim throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Boc rushes Kim and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boc escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kim fails to land with a series of punches.
Boc chopping away at his opponent's legs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The referee calls for Boc to work.
Kim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boc fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kim thumps Boc with a low kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boc turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ong Boc dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Boc's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ong Boc is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boc keeps Kim at a distance using the push kick.
Kim misses with a combination
and Boc counters with an outside leg kick.
Boc scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kim doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Boc counters with a big head kick but Kim shrugs it off.

Kim has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Boc.

Kim has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boc is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kim.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ong Boc dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Boc makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kim really felt that one!
Kim shoots for a takedown but Boc saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Boc connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
Kim chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boc can pounce on him.

Boc is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kim can do to turn this around?

Kim throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boc's waist but Boc gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kim off to one side.
Ong Boc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ji Seung Kim.
Kim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boc lands with a kick to the temple. Kim shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Boc connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kim's face.
Kim tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Boc just stands there and leans against the cage.

Boc rushes Kim and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Boc lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kim or not.
Kim changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boc fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boc rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kim shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boc as he avoids it easily.

Boc throws a head kick that half lands.

Kim drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boc gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boc is pushing Kim up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Ji Seung Kim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ong Boc is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ong Boc showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boc, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
