The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Punk tries for a takedown but Rage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rage!
It looks like CM Punk has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Rage. No joy for Punk on that attempt. Punk lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Flash Rage has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rage displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Punk throws out the jab. Punk ducks right into an uppercut from Rage. Rage avoids the body shot from Punk.
Punk lands with a straight right. Rage didn't see that one coming. Rage defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Punk. Flash Rage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CM Punk. Punk throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Rage to counter with a crisp jab. Punk looks gassed! Rage feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rage is pushing down on Punk's leg trying to pass to half guard. Punk is fighting to maintain full guard but Rage has managed to sneak the leg through. Rage controlling the action here. and Rage counters with a two punch combo. Rage drives through with a takedown into guard. Punk is trying to keep Rage in close.
Punk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee stands the fighters back up. Flash Rage just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Punk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rage was well out of range. Poor timing from Punk. Rage takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Punk is breathing heavily. Punk shoots in but no luck this time. Punk thows a body shot but no joy. Punk throws the left hand but Rage avoids the punch easily. Punk needs to keep his hands up - Rage had a free shot at his head there. Flash Rage is winning the standup battle so far. Rage darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rage seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Flash Rage overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Rage lands with a punch from half guard. Rage is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Punk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rage. Punk is looking for a sweep. Rage is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rage content to control rather than advance. Rage is nestled in close to Punk, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rage seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Punk for as long as he can get away with.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rage throws a right and a left that Punk avoids nicely. Rage pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flash Rage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Punk throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rage. Rage closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Rage not doing much here.
Punk is in trouble now - Rage has advanced to mount! Rage tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Rage landing strikes, looking to finish! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Punk swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Punk is trying to escape the mount.

I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Punk is bucking up trying to escape but Rage cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rage with good strikes from the mount here!
