Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rolf Spicer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Morientes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morientes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rap Das Armas. Rolf Spicer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolf Spicer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ricardo Morientes! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morientes stuffs the takedown attempt from Spicer. Spicer gets slowly back to his feet. Spicer looks for a takedown but Morientes sprawls well. Spicer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Spicer throws a right hand that Morientes ducks under and follows up with a left that Morientes also avoids with ease. Spicer swinging wilding here.
Spicer stuffs the takedown. Spicer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morientes misses with a takedown and Spicer counters with a one-two to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Spicer does no damage. Morientes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spicer is fending him off so far but Morientes persists. Nope, Spicer circles away and we're back to standing. Rolf Spicer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Morientes. Spicer swinging wilding here.
Morientes swats away the attempt to clinch by Spicer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spicer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morientes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A clash of legs there as Morientes blocks the low kick. Morientes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Spicer is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Spicer tries to hold on but Morientes postures up. Spicer's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Spicer has given up his back here.
Morientes looking to break Spicer's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Spicer remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Morientes will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Morientes is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Spicer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Spicer is in bad spot here.
Spicer wants to get back to his feet. Morientes is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Spicer knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Spicer for a finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spicer is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. You can see the frustration on Spicer's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Morientes working for the choke. Morientes looks gassed! Morientes working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Spicer wants to escape the position.
Spicer controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Spicer turns into Morientes and is now in his guard.
Morientes looking for a sweep. Not yet Morientes, not yet. Morientes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morientes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morientes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Spicer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Morientes's body to avoid the submission. Morientes has instead reached around Spicer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Morientes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
