Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Svyatoslav Kudryavtsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeca Pagodinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kudryavtsev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kudryavtsev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kudryavtsev tries to get out of the position.

Kudryavtsev wants to get up but he can't break Pagodinho's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kudryavtsev would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pagodinho bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kudryavtsev's guard.

Kudryavtsev is looking for a triangle here but Pagodinho uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pagodinho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kudryavtsev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Pagodinho counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kudryavtsev won't be happy with that.
Pagodinho is putting a hurting on Kudryavtsev here, landing some big shots from side control.
Pagodinho gets to mount! Kudryavtsev was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Kudryavtsev is desperately trying to improve his position but Pagodinho has a good base and remains in mount.
Kudryavtsev is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Pagodinho turns him over and now has his back.
Kudryavtsev is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Pagodinho.
I really don't envy Kudryavtsev right now.

Kudryavtsev won't enjoy being in this position. Pagodinho looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Kudryavtsev is tapping - it's over boys! Pagodinho picks up the submission victory!
