Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemean Athos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Athos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thundercats kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athos takes one to the side of the head.
Athos tries to clinch up but Lennox circles away and keeps his distance.
Athos misses with a low kick.
Lennox misses with a few strikes there.
Athos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lennox slips under a jab from Athos.
Lennox ducks under a wild hook from Athos.
A jab lands there for Athos.
Athos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lennox counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lennox misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lennox shoots in for a takedown but Athos shows good takedown defense.
Athos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Athos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lennox moves away.

Athos lands a jab to Lennox's midsection.

Lennox takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Athos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lennox.
Athos lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Athos closes the distance but Lennox moves to the side

and Lennox counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lennox wants to lay and pray for a moment but Athos keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Athos makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Athos.
Athos wants to get back to his feet but Lennox is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Athos wants to sweep here but Lennox controlling him for the moment.

Lennox is looking to stand up but Athos won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Athos keeping moving, preventing Lennox from controlling successfully.

Lennox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Athos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lennox chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Athos can pounce on him.
Athos throws a right and a left that Lennox avoids nicely.
Athos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lennox ducks under a wild hook from Athos.
Lennox tries to bum rush Athos with a series of wild strikes but Athos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lennox staying out of range there.
Athos digs a good body shot into Lennox's ribs.
Lennox lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Athos circles away quickly and effectively.

Lennox throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Athos counters with a nice body shot.
Lennox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Athos.
Athos cracks Lennox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like Larry Lennox has been cut.
Lennox will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lennox gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Athos swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Nemean Athos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Athos dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lennox. That did some damage!
Nemean Athos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Athos Rushes Lennox and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Lennox is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Athos Piles on the pressure and Lennox crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
