3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Woods! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Roberts! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Donald Grub.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Woods avoids it really well and circles away. Woods blocks a head kick by Roberts.
Woods lands a nice hook to Roberts's body. Roberts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Woods closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Woods working the ground and pound from side control. Roberts sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Roberts wants to improve his position but Woods is controlling well.
Woods works his way into full mount! Woods looking to finish with strikes here!
Roberts regains half guard. Woods has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Roberts blocking the ground and pound attempt from Woods.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Roberts lands with a light punch inside.

Woods tries to close the distance and clinch but Roberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Woods has his foot on Roberts's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roberts works his way back into a safe position though.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Roberts throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roberts gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Woods counters with a good low kick that Roberts was not able to check. Roberts throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A leg kick checked by Woods.
Woods rushes Roberts and presses him up against the cage. Woods goes for a takedown in the clinch but Roberts prevents it.

Roberts is looking to break free of the clinch but Woods has double underhooks. Roberts lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Woods backwards. Roberts is trying to force a seperation but Woods has the dominant position.

Roberts closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Woods to the mat! Woods manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Woods keeping moving, preventing Roberts from controlling successfully. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ross Woods will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Woods closes the distance and clinches up with Roberts, looking for a takedown. Woods pushes Roberts against the cage but Roberts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Woods tries to clinch up but Roberts circles away and keeps his distance. Woods shoots in but no luck this time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Woods is defended easily by Roberts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Woods. That's going to take a lot out of him. Roberts looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Roberts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Woods manages to avoid it. Woods will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Woods fails to land the takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts closes this distance looking for a takedown but Woods circles away. Roberts throws out a leg kick but Woods moves out of range and Roberts only half commits. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Woods tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Roberts cracks Woods with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts misses with an uppercut. Woods saw that one coming. Oliver Roberts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roberts swinging wildly here.
Woods shoots for a double leg takedown but Roberts sprawls well. He's pushed Woods's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Woods on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Roberts. Roberts obviously looking to wear him down.

Roberts takes an elbow to the temple. Roberts is trying to break the clinch but Woods is controlling him. Woods changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Roberts fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Woods throws a leg kick but Roberts sees it coming and checks it nicely. Woods uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roberts. A head kick from Woods lands but Roberts takes it in his stride. A left and a right from Roberts both land. Nice combination.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Woods shoots in but Roberts avoids the takedown attempt easily. Roberts throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Woods stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Some wild striking there from Roberts.
Woods connects with a body shot. Woods moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Woods is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Roberts to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Roberts shrugs it off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods is landing with some decent strikes but Roberts is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Roberts is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Roberts tries to hold on but Woods postures up. Ross Woods overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Woods is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Roberts can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Woods throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Woods swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Roberts is now in Woods's guard. A big mistake from Woods there, giving up the dominant position!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Roberts passes Woods's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Woods on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Woods wants to control but Roberts is keeping busy and won't allow it. Woods wants to get back to his feet. Roberts working over Woods with some ground and pound. Woods looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Roberts not landing any meaningful shots this time. Roberts wants to pass the guard but Woods is defending well.

Roberts thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Oliver Roberts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
