Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Shelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Floyd Chappers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floyd Chappers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chappers misses with a two punch combination.
Chappers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shelter has a takedown stuffed.

Shelter fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chappers, pushing him back against the cage.
Chappers prevents the takedown attempt.

Shelter pulls guard.
Chappers wants to get up but he can't break Shelter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Chappers wants to stand and escape but instead Shelter has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Chappers scores with a hook to the body. Shelter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Chappers stands and steps away. Shelter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Shelter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Chappers puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Shelter has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chappers is working away from the top position though.

Chappers escapes and gets back to his feet.

Shelter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Shelter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Shelter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Chappers rolls with it to try and escape but Shelter cranks on the arm and Chappers is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
