Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Correia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Rodellega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Correia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Rodellega!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correia tries to clinch there but Rodellega circles away.

Correia darts in and clinches Rodellega up against the cage.
Correia is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Correia keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rodellega's efforts to push away.

Correia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Correia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Correia wants to clinch.
Rodellega is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Correia.
Correia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rodellega paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Correia makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rodellega really felt that one!

Correia darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Correia is looking to stall here but Rodellega recovers full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rodellega can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Correia looking to sit in guard and control but Rodellega gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Correia striking off his back but it's not causing Rodellega any problems.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rodellega seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rodellega wanted to stand there but Correia had control of the position.
Correia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rodellega stands and steps away. Correia gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Rodellega avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rodellega throws a right and a left that Correia avoids nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rodellega.


It looks like Fedor Correia has been cut.
Rodellega stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rodellega wants it to stay on the feet.
Rodellega tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rodellega misses with a jab, cross combination.
Arthur Rodellega is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Correia takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Correia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodellega.

Rodellega moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rodellega looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Correia throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Rodellega fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rodellega throws a nice looking combination but Correia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Correia is defended easily by Rodellega.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Correia. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rodellega moves into the clinch successfully.

Rodellega is stalling here.
Correia wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Correia fails to pull guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rodellega lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Correia drops his hands momentarily and Rodellega takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Correia ducks under a wild hook from Rodellega.
Arthur Rodellega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Correia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rodellega rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Correia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Correia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rodellega but Rodellega pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Correia shoots for a takedown but Rodellega saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fedor Correia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rodellega throws a one two combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodellega connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Correia momentarily.


Fedor Correia's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Rodellega lands a left and a right that send Correia crashing to the mat, dazed. Rodellega thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Correia is rocked!


Jeez, Fedor Correia's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fedor Correia's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Arthur Rodellega!
