Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Holden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jampage Rackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holden comes into the arena with Coming Home - Alter Bridge blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Holden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jampage Rackson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rackson closes the distance and clinches. Holden tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rackson smiles and moves away.
Jampage Rackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Holden checks a leg kick. Rackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holden is looking for a sweep. Rackson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Holden, who protects the arm well. Rackson takes a little break here. Holden wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Holden is trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holden is not content to let Rackson control the position. Holden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rackson on the ground. Holden wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Rackson cracks Holden with an elbow. That is naaassty. Rackson throwing shots but missing, from side control. Holden is trying to buck Rackson off.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rackson dodges the punch combination from Holden.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Holden stuffs the takedown attempt from Rackson. Rackson gets slowly back to his feet. Rackson shoots in for a takedown but Holden shows good takedown defense. Rackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Holden! Holden is desperately trying to improve his position but Rackson has a good base and remains in mount. Holden swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Holden has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Rackson's lack of action.
Holden is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rackson scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rackson prevents Holden from standing back up.
Rackson is trying to control. Holden wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rackson controlling the action here. Holden tries to kick Rackson off but Rackson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Rackson avoids the head kick by Holden.
Holden is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rackson throws a head kick that misses and Holden counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Holden wants to stand up but Rackson manages to regain full guard. Holden with a flurry of punches that miss. Rackson is pulling down on Holden's head to control his posture. Rackson working a defensive guard here.
Rackson with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Holden can't handle though.
Rackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holden's guard. Holden is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rackson is controlling him. Rackson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jampage Rackson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Rackson has closed the distance and engaged Holden in a clinch.
Rackson can't find room to land a body shot as Holden controls the action.
Holden working hard to break the clinch. Holden wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rackson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Holden has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rackson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Holden changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rackson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rackson with a poor takedown and Holden makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rackson really felt that one! Josh Holden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jampage Rackson. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holden's guard. Rackson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Holden wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Holden is keeping the position for now. Rackson stands and throws Holden's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rackson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rackson working the ground and pound. Rackson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Rackson decides to stand back up. Rackson steps back and let's Holden get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rackson fails with the takedown and Holden counters with a flying knee. Nice. Rackson with a lazy takedown attempt and Holden counters with a big head kick but Rackson shrugs it off. Holden avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rackson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rackson lands a nice shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rackson working Holden over with strikes here. Holden has given up his back. Will we see Rackson going for some submissions?
Jampage Rackson has got the better of the ground game so far. Rackson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Jampage Rackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Rackson instigates a clinch. Rackson just leaning against Holden, taking a breather. Rackson pulls guard successfully.
Rackson pulls Holden in close to prevent any damage. Holden throws and elbow that misses. Rackson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Holden's guard. Nice move by Rackson! Holden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Holden can't keep his opponent in guard - Rackson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rackson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rackson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holden has managed to free his arm - good work. Rackson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Holden knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Holden looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rackson moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rackson decides to stand back up. Rackson steps back and let's Holden get back to his feet. Rackson instigates a clinch. Rackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Rackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Holden's guard. Rackson prevents Holden from getting back to his feet. Rackson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rackson passes Holden's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rackson is trying for a kimura here. Holden looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rackson wins by kimura!
