Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by Freestyler. Mako has chosen Broken Dreams By Shaman's Harvest as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. George Mako struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. George Mako looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Mako!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mako pinned against the cage. Mako gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mako looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ryan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mako gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mako utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ryan wants to pass the guard but Mako is keeping the position.

Ryan tries to free his leg and advance position but Mako is retaining full guard.

Mako can't keep his opponent in guard - Ryan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ryan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ryan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mako doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ryan.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Ryan is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mako is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
