The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter leaves Balboa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Balboa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Balboa dodges the punch combination from Potter.
Potter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Balboa checks a leg kick.
Gray Potter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Balboa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Potter defends it nicely.

Potter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Balboa manages to avoid it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Potter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Balboa.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Potter connects with a body shot.
Potter is looking to wear down Balboa with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Potter keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Potter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Balboa on the side of the head.

Potter lands with a big right hook that stumbles Balboa - he's out on his feet here! Potter follows up with another monster hook that separates Balboa from consciousness! Balboa falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Potter stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
