Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Seek n Strike. Cobb has chosen Freak on a Leash as his entrance music. Trey Cobb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trey Cobb! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miller misses with a wild combination.
Cobb shoots in and bounces Miller off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miller wants to stand but Cobb is controlling the position. Cobb wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller wants to stand but Cobb is controlling the position. Miller keeping moving, preventing Cobb from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb won't allow Miller to get back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A punch combination from Miller misses. Miller throws a series of punches but Cobb avoids them all with ease. Cobb showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.

Cobb decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Cobb wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Miller looks like he's trying to stand up.
Miller is breathing heavily. Cobb wants to pass to mount but Miller is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cobb throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cobb looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Miller is trying to stand up here but Cobb is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cobb pushes Miller away with a front kick. Cobb dodges the punch combination from Miller.
Cobb looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Miller is in trouble now - Cobb has advanced to mount! Miller tries to hold on but Cobb postures up. Cobb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller tries to hold on but Cobb postures up. Cobb looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller trying desperately to get to his feet.

Cobb working for a submission but Miller is keeping him at bay. You get the feeling that Miller really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cobb content just to control the position here. Miller is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cobb trying to control but he's not successful this time. Miller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Trey Cobb dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Miller throws a nice looking combination but Cobb bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ken Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller throws a right hand that Cobb ducks under and follows up with a left that Cobb also avoids with ease. Some wild striking there from Miller.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Miller tried to score with a low kick but Cobb checks it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cobb avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Ken Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Cobb wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Miller trying to control here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cobb slips a jab and a cross from Miller.
Ken Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Miller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cobb to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cobb gets to his feet. Miller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Miller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cobb avoids a punch combination nicely.
Miller throws a series of punches but Cobb avoids them all with ease. Cobb clinches up against the cage. Cobb blocks an elbow strike. Miller is trying to break the clinch but Cobb has him pressed against the cage. Miller is trying to force a seperation but Cobb has the dominant position. Miller wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cobb has him pressed against the cage. Miller stops a takedown attempt from Cobb.
Cobb is trying to drag Miller to the mat but Miller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobb has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Miller avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ken Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Cobb. Miller is trying to break free. Miller throws an elbow but it misses.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Miller. Miller is trying to force a seperation but Cobb has the dominant position. Cobb decides to pull guard. Miller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Miller thows a big elbow that misses. Cobb manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Miller tries to hold on but Cobb postures up. Miller squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Miller defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Cobb. Cobb trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cobb won't let Miller get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Cobb swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
