The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jaw working the ground and pound but Warrior is defending the strikes.
Warrior prevents Jaw from improving position.

Jaw throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Jaw tries to move to mount but Warrior blocks the move with his legs.
Jaw creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Warrior sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jaw fails to land a wild elbow strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jaw is putting a hurting on Warrior here, landing some big shots from side control.

Jaw tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Warrior wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jaw tries to bench press Warrior off him but Warrior keeps the position.

It looks like Granite Jaw has been cut.
Jaw is working to avoid the ground and pound but Warrior connects with a decent elbow.

That has opened up Granite Jaw's cut even more.
Warrior lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The cut above Granite Jaw's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Warrior throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Jaw manages to get back to half guard.
Warrior blocks the strikes from Jaw.
Jaw tries to get to full guard but Warrior has control of the leg.
Warrior is pressing down on Jaw's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jaw is holding on for now.

Granite Jaw's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Granite Jaw's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
