Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Petrson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rampage Jackson has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rampage Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jorge Petrson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Petrson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Jackson is looking to clinch but Petrson is avoiding it.
Petrson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is trying to control but can't.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Petrson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jackson is looking to improve his position.
Jackson is looking to control Petrson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jackson avoid being mounted? Petrson content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Petrson connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple. Jackson is looking for a sweep. Petrson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. Petrson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Petrson is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jorge Petrson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jackson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Petrson counters with a single leg into guard. Jackson didn't expect that. Petrson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Petrson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jackson is breathing heavily. Petrson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petrson advances position into side control! Jackson is letting Petrson control him for a moment.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Let's hope that Petrson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jackson is fighting to maintain full guard but Petrson has managed to sneak the leg through. Petrson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Petrson is in close to Jackson's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Jackson can't keep his opponent in guard - Petrson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Petrson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jackson is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petrson is taking a breather. Jackson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jackson is trying to maintain the position but Petrson is very close to passing his half guard. Well, if Petrson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jorge Petrson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Jorge Petrson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Petrson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
