Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Kafka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kafka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dance Hall Days. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson looks to land a left hand but Kafka moved out of range nicely.

Kafka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Johnson.
Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kafka.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kafka throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kafka ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away.
Kafka cracks Johnson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kafka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.
Kafka slips under a jab.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Kafka throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kafka throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it.
Johnson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kafka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kafka misses the jab.
Johnson looks to land a combination but Kafka avoids it well.
Johnson throws a low kick, looking for Kafka's leg but Kafka calmly moves out of range.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kafka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kafka.

Kafka moves away from the strike by Johnson.

That was a close round but I would say that Rock Johnson will probably get the nod.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Kafka, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Kafka against the cage but Kafka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Kafka's head but Kafka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kafka's waist but Kafka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.

A slow jab from Kafka misses its intended target.
Kafka sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kafka manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kafka can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Johnson controls the pace.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kafka wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.

Kafka is looking for a sweep. Johnson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Johnson slips a nice elbow through Kafka's hands, connecting with Kafka's forehead.
Kafka tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.

Kafka is looking to escape.
Kafka has a hand on Johnson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Johnson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Kafka sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kafka throws a low kick but it's checked well by Johnson.

Kafka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kafka napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kafka tries to buck Johnson off but Johnson is having none of it.

Rock Johnson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
