PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Get Back (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Back comes to the cage accompanied by Guile theme :D. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin misses with a wild combination.
Back tries to clinch up but Darwin circles away and keeps his distance.
Darwin scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Back shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Darwin pinned against the cage. Darwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Back slips under a jab from Darwin.
Back looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Back throws a right and a left that Darwin avoids nicely.
Darwin connects with a crisp jab.
Darwin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Darwin works Back's body with a nice hook.
Darwin looks to land a combination. Back sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Get Back has been cut.
Back fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Darwin should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Back is breathing heavily.
Darwin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Darwin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Darwin wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Get Back. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Darwin scores with a jab to the jaw.

Darwin throws a body punch but Back moves out of range.
Darwin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Back's head.
Darwin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Back looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Back doesn't manage to clinch there - Darwin circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Darwin, as that shot connected.
Darwin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Darwin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Back moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Back throws a right hand that Darwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Darwin also avoids with ease.
Darwin connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Jab, jab by Darwin - just one landing.

Back is rocked!
Darwin drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Back's head, knocking him out cold! Darwin is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
