Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vince Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norbert Schwager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Vince Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Vince Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Norbert Schwager! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Schwager. Schwager has Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Schwager tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jones just stands there and leans against the cage. Schwager looking for a takedown. Jones can't break the clinch.
Schwager breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schwager moves out of range of the body kick. Schwager throws a leg kick but Jones sees it coming and checks it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones wants to clinch up but Schwager keeps it at a distance. Schwager is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones tries to clinch but fails miserably and Schwager counters by moving into the clinch. Schwager escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwager tries a head kick but it misses.
Schwager tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones closes the distance but Schwager moves to the side and Schwager counters with a flying knee. Nice. Some wild striking there from Schwager.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Schwager tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Schwager but Schwager pushes him off and we're back to square one. Schwager shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones wants to control but Schwager is having none of it. Schwager working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Schwager tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Schwager avoids the attempt from Jones to control. Jones blocking the ground and pound. Jones keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Schwager thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Schwager thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwager throwing strikes but Jones recovers to half guard. A much better position. Schwager throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Schwager has his takedown stuffed and Jones counters with a straight right hand. Vince Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Norbert Schwager. Schwager looks to land a combination but Jones avoids it well. A punch combination from Schwager misses. Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Schwager fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Schwager looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Schwager counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Schwager working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwager is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.
Schwager throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Norbert Schwager dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Schwager throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Schwager gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Schwager pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Schwager tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Schwager misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schwager throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Schwager will be more careful next time no doubt. Jones with a lazy takedown attempt and Schwager counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schwager wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Schwager lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones wants to stand but Schwager is controlling the position. Schwager trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Schwager sitting in guard, not really doing much. Schwager looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Schwager missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Schwager darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Schwager is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Schwager thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Schwager thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is not content to let Schwager control the position. Jones is looking to control Schwager's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? Schwager thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jones's head. Schwager looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Schwager is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Schwager misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schwager shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Schwager closes the distance looking to clinch and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schwager was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Schwager is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Schwager lands a body shot in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Norbert Schwager showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schwager is proving hard to escape from. Jones wants to control from the top but Schwager keeps moving. Jones throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Schwager works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Schwager controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Schwager avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Schwager misses with a takedown and Jones counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jones throwing strikes from guard but Schwager blocks nicely. Jones throwing strikes but missing. Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Schwager keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones throws and elbow that misses. Schwager uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Schwager! Schwager is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwager prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. Schwager missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Schwager closes the distance and clinches. Nice elbow from Schwager. Schwager avoiding damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones is looking to stand up but Schwager isn't so interested in that idea. Schwager lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Schwager being controlled here momentarily. Schwager controls from within his opponent's guard. Jones is pulling down on Schwager's head to control his posture. Vince Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Schwager trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norbert Schwager is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Schwager might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Schwager is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Vince Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well Schwager has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
