The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor throws a leg kick which misses Rivers's front leg but catches the back leg as Rivers tries to avoid it.
Connor throws a nice head kick!
Rivers circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rivers shoots in and drives through. Connor sprawls well.
Connor has closed the distance and engaged Rivers in a clinch.
Connor breaks from the clinch.
A shot to de liver by Connor. Beautiful body shot.
Connor digs a good body shot into Rivers's ribs.
Connor tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rivers takes one to the side of the head.

Connor moves in looking to clinch but Rivers pushes him off.

Connor closes the distance and clinches.
Connor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rivers backwards.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Connor takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Rivers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Connor's half guard.
Connor is trying to control but can't.
Rivers is looking for a kimura but Connor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rivers to get the leverage.
Rivers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Connor defends it well.
Connor wants to get back to full guard.
