Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kostya Serd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serd comes to the cage accompanied by RZA - No Hook. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Jackson! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Serd really wants to buck Jackson off and get back to his feet. Jackson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Jackson unloads with some shots from mount but Serd bucks and avoids them well.
The referee warns Serd that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Quinton Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nice strikes from Jackson there. Jackson content to control rather than advance. Jackson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jackson controlling the action here. Jackson looks to land a strike but Serd avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Serd working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jackson. Serd avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Serd has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle. Jackson sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jackson trying to control but Serd is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Quinton Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
